Anger happens. We’ve all felt it before. I like the scripture above that acknowledges this unfortunate fact because it’s realistic. The Bible does not pretend that Christians never get angry. And because it admits this problem, it can also address a solution. Isn’t that the first step to solving a problem, confessing that there is a problem to begin with? Well I certainly can’t deny the truth: I’ve been angry with my own wife before, and anger happens to me like anyone else. I don’t like being angry; it can cause further problems. I won’t get into the weeds of how or when it’s right to be angry. I’m looking at the scripture above and know that it’s not good to stay angry. Who wants to live in that emotion all day every day?
