A group of us from college work our asses to the bone every year on our tailgates. Football is huge in America, and it's even huger in Texas. And once you start talking about University of Texas football, it's just ridiculous. I'm not a sports guy, but I'm totally caught up and have been since the '90s. We're the last group doing this, and money-for-nothing is in full effect here. We don't get paid, but basically, as one of the wives said, you guys put on a small wedding every Saturday in the fall. And we do. All of our friends are smarter and have quit long ago and just come to ours and throw in cash. Somebody remarked the other day that they wish they worked this hard in their day job. We love it. It's fun, and it's ridiculous. And that's what music is for me, but also when I think about my day job, there's no reason not to make it that too.
