I successfully jailbreaked my 14 year old Kindle Touch πŸŽ‰ This after support for it was ended by Amazon back in May. Currently my plan is to use calibre in to load new books onto it and KOReader to read them. As a first step I jailbreaked the Kindle Touch and installed KOReader. Guides for this were scattered and only focused on one part of the process. So I ended up following the steps in this Reddit Comment, which worked flawlessly for me. The guides on the Kindle Modding Wiki aren't very good for older Kindle models. Many people have problems with them. I suggest factory resetting your Kindle, and then follow this guide: 1 - Update firmware If your Kindle's firmware is already version 5.3.7.3, you don't need to do anything.
