Social faux pas

I've deleted my Mastodon account. I only had it because a number of Pagecord customers hang out there, so I won't miss it. Pagecord continues to support Mastodon and the Fediverse, of course. I've also deactivated Bluesky (deadzone), but I've kept my X account because I genuinely get value from people I follow in tech and politics on there, despite being well aware of how some people will (wrongly) interpret this.I tried to engage on a couple of Mastodon threads earlier today because they referenced one of my blog posts, and a mob duly piled in with accusations that I'm "anti human", "insincere", and "anti learning". Read the blog post, what do you think?Needless to say this was bordering on the ridiculous. I tried to defend myself (bad idea – don't do this), which led to a couple of hand grenades being duly thrown in, specifically that I use LLMs to write Pagecord (the horror), and that I have a blue checkmark on X.
