Amnesia Fortnight 2026 Launches as a Kickstarter

Double Fine has announced a new Kickstarter starting on August 31, 2026. Amnesia Fortnight 2026 - Indie Reboot: A Double Fine Productions Game Jam, Documentary and Kickstarter Campaign launches on August 31st, and runs through most of September, but you can sign up here now to get notified when it goes live! We're going to do a Game Jam, live on the internet, in which our backers will get to choose which of our myriad of ideas get made into four new prototypes-- and which of those final four will become a real (small) game. You may even snag some sweet merchables and rarities along the way. All alongside the process, 2 Player Productions will be filming all the fun to produce one of their award-winning documentary spectaculars. This is what I was hoping would happen once Double Fine was let go from the Xbox Game Studios apparatus. As a recent convert thanks to PsychOdyssey, consider me very excited to see an Amnesia Fortnight unfold in real time.
