This was another wild card choice I picked for this month’s reviews. Today’s read was Cornish’s sole foray into writing crime fiction. Information on the dustjacket of my copy states that: ‘Constance Cornish spent the first fourteen years of her life travelling all over the world with her father, who made film travelogues. She then returned to her native America and still in her early teens, carved out a successful career for herself as an actress on Broadway. Since then she has acted – and written – for radio. She is married to the Executive Editor of the New York Herald Tribune.’
