An Update

Effective immediately I’ve chosen to walk away from my co-hosting duties on NPC: Next Portable Console. It’s been an absolute pleasure working on the show, and I’ve deeply loved discussing our shared passion for gaming hardware every week for the past ~100 weeks. It’s not often you come across other people who are as deep in the exact same hyper specific weeds you are with regards to a hobby, so being able to bounce ideas, discuss news, and test the bleeding edge with John and Federico has been a blast. I’m unclear on what the two of them will decide in terms of keeping NPC going, but I’ve made it clear that they’re fully in control of the future of the show if they so choose. I wish them the best on that front. This also likely means that emulation coverage and hardware testing will slightly ramp up on the Wavelengths YouTube channel and here on the blog, as my admiration for the space hasn’t waned in the slightest over the years.
