Visiting Dublin, everyone kept mentioning the need to drink Guinness; I guess it's an institution with tourists because I saw many people topping off their morning breakfast with a pint. Succumbing to pressure, I tried a taste and survived. I don't drink beer.What we did do, happily, was repeatedly visit a couple of the best-tasting coffee shops you might experience anywhere. First was Copper + Straw, which I would characterize as a high-volume establishment. They have more than one location, and the one we frequented was a small spot near Aras Ui Dhalaigh and a Garda station—fewer tourists like ourselves, and more harried professionals wearing wrinkled suits.
