If you're anything like me, you're a sucker for a good romance. And you've also got a bit of a morbid fascination. Not exactly a "peanut butter and chocolate" type of combination, but we all contain multitudes, don't we?But as I was checking out our friend Bookshop.org's Read a Romance Month sale, I stumbled across the cover of Morbidly Yours by Ivy Fairbanks (2023). And the two wolves inside of me shook their paws.My interest = piquedI won't lie, there was definitely a part of me that hoped this might be a human-falls-in-love-with-a-ghost kinda story, but I was wrong.✨If anyone reading this review finds themself craving that niche now that I've said it, then I highly recommend watching season one, episode four of Charmed, "Dead Man Dating"The first in Fairbanks' series, Love in Galway, Morbidly Yours is a contemporary romance novel in which a guilt-ridden widow moves next to a stuttering undertaker.
