The Danish government is tightening school rules because AI-assisted cheating has become a serious problem among secondary-school students. From now on, students aged 16–19 will have to orally defend major written assignments, making it harder to submit AI-generated work they cannot explain themselves. Schools will also assign more work under supervised, in-school conditions and use computer monitoring and network filters during exams.
