Greetings fellow enthusiasts of traditional era movie magic. It would seem, against my better judgement, that it is probably 'that time' once again. It's been a while and to tell the truth, I've been of two minds as to whether to bother with putting together another epic tome of matte magnificence as there seems to be relatively little interest 'out there' for this sort of thing, judging by the falling readership, bringing me to seriously question the continuation of the whole endeavour. It'll be a pretty much wait and see kind of deal. I've still got a considerable stock of matte shots and associated trick work, but does anyone really have an interest in celebrating such old stuff? Anyway, as far as todays edition goes, I have a quite vast selection of mattes and effects from across the spectrum. All of the genres, all eras and all manner of creativity. From the economic right through to the 'money is no object' end of the scale. We've got three westerns, five classic British…
