It’s only been two weeks, but I’ve officially decided that I don’t like winter. I’ve always thought there’s something magical about the cold weather. I’ve always wanted to see snow. I still do. But now, surviving in the conurbano winter- it’s not even snowing – I’m starting to feel a certain type of fatigue that comes with moving in a temperature you’re not used to. It’s hard to get out of bed. As much as I try to wake up at 8 am, it’s too cold to function. I’d need to put on several layers of clothes to go to our computer room (I can say office, but it sounds so formal. “Computer room” makes it sound like we just have computers there lol). Granted, I could turn the heater on, but we don’t want to use that much electricity, except when it’s below 5 degrees. I need a heater in the shower, however, I shiver after taking a bath. The robe helps me, yes, but it doesn’t cover all of my extremities. I didn’t like using a bathrobe in the Philippines, I get all sweaty right after taking a…
