The Next Anthology

My second anthology since MACHINE LEARNING will come out this year. Only a few of the stories have been published elsewhere. The rest are stories written since I’ve been on LUNA (the goal has been a story a week, but it’s been more like every other week). While my editor is working on them, and I’m polishing up the last few, I’m debating how best to release these. They will definitely be a collected work at some point, but I was thinking of releasing them individually as short stories as well. Maybe even making little chapbooks out of them. There are a ton of new options out there. Substack, this blog, etc. Part of the joy of releasing them separately is the chance to package each one with its own cover art and have them stand alone. Amazon will only let prices be as low as 99 cents. Is that too much for a short story? Any opinions are welcomed. The post The Next Anthology appeared first on Hugh Howey.
