How I plan and journal in the same notebook 0 ▲ Sylvia's Studio 55 minutes ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I use a notebook for almost everything I might want to write by hand, the only thing I don't keep in it are long-term lists for projects and such, those live in my notepad. The daily lists are all in my journal, and are processed at the end of each day (or during the morning after. Everything for projects gets moved to the notepad, to keep everything clear. I have two different tricks to keep the non-journal things easily accessible in my notebook. When I use blank notebooks I keep the lists, poems and quotes (ie the things that are important) visually separate from the journalling, and it works so well. What I do is demonstrated in the image above. My list for the day, and appointments are written horizontally, and then to journal I just turn the notebook and write on the vertical side. It really helps to separate the journalling from the other things.
