Early August 2026 photos

Ceci n’est pas une pipe. Here are a couple of attempts of mine to take moody photos of the geothermal fields behind the horticultural school, by the Fífilbrekka cottage. These are from a new path that was made in the reforestation area to the north of the town to a small grove called Ísakslundur that wasn’t really accessible before. Went on a day trip to Borgarnes this week. The highlight was the café Kaffi Kyrrð. Also went to the Settlement Exhibition in the Settlement Center which was so old the videos were in standard definition. But a nice town and a great trip Took a slightly less trodden route during a recent hike.
