The World does Not need More Audiences

Someone asked why I volunteer for the Mon Refugee School? I do not understand the political situation, and it is unlikely that it will resolve in the near future. I agree on both points. What I also see are both adults and children who desires for a better future. They did not choose to become a refugee. I cannot save everyone, but I hope I can give the children a chance through education. Through education, they can think clearer, seek information and communicate effectively. I can choose to stand on the sideline and be their cheerleader. Instead, I choose to get involved. I am being selfish here. I am also doing it for myself. I don't want to die knowing that I could have done something but failed to take action. The world does not need more audience. The world needs more action.
