The doctors surgery texted me just twenty four hours after my echocardiogram scan. They said they had received the report from the scan, and asked me to please make an appointment with the GP so he could discuss the results with me. One day. The NHS doesn't normally move that fast, does it? I still don't know what the scan has told them obviously, but I've been feeling worried about how quickly the report was sent and the subsequent request to see me was made. Do they have a reason to move fast? Or perhaps it's nothing, and I just happen to have been the subject of a rare patch of NHS efficiency.
