bumblebee orchid picThis is a birthday present for my son in law. It is almost a month late but I got it out to him today.hmm......The back rails are a little longer than the side ones. Between the legs and the first slat (on either end) is about 2 1/4". I hadn't checked or noticed the difference before doing the layout. If I had I could have spaced the slats out a little more. doneWhacked out these quicker than the others before this. No splits and all the mortises are clean and nice looking.first one fittedI had made two of the slats a wee bit wider than then other three. Two of the mortises were wider R/L than the others. I'm glad I checked them with the two extra slats from yesterday before I ripped out the 5 needed for this.doneGot it fitted and together.
