It has sometimes been the ally of the Archdruidal States and sometimes to the Kingdom of Vaniglia, dueling powers that seek total ascendancy.Now, with war broken out between the two powers, hired warlords lead their forces up and down Acqua Dolce, for neither can leave its routes unsecured against the other. Meanwhile, the introduction of the printing press from foreign lands has introduced its own chaos, as demons have co-opted the invention from the artisan Germanians who introduced it.
