But this is a major issue. These digital copies are likely the only surviving copies of a piece of history. Could they have done better? Could they have followed the 3-2-1 backup plan? Yes, certainly. It’s easy to pass judgment on an organization when looking in from the outside. However, it’s another matter to actually be in the room, and understand the efforts behind the preservation of these volatile pieces of history.
