Worrying about bills is never something I want anyone to experience. I remember three years ago when I was going through a phase where every dollar I earned was allocated to a particular bill due at the end of the month, leaving me with nothing. Some months, when insurance or car payments were due, I was in the negative by thousands and had to borrow money from friends so my credit card wouldn’t charge me interest. It’s been a journey going from there to now no longer being in the negative or worrying about bills at the end of the month. I’m still not in the millions where I don’t worry about bills ever, but life has been kind. On my recent trip to India, though, I met a friend who has enough. Enough that he does not need to worry about regular bills for the rest of his life. I was curious about what he does with his time, now that bills are no longer a concern and he doesn’t have to work.
