Lucid Gravity – New York, New York When roaming around the Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan, we happened upon a Lucid showroom. I had to go in. Are you familiar with Lucid? It’s an American electric car company based in California, and its cars are manufactured in Arizona. Although I’ve seen many Lucid Airs, their electric sedan, around town, there isn’t an Austin showroom. Our visit to NYC gave me my first opportunity to see the Gravity, the brand-new SUV, in person. My wife was also impressed. The vehicles are absolutely beautiful and feature truly innovative engineering, but the company has yet to turn a profit.
