A much-improved Kobo setup.I should have installed KOReader a long time ago. I’ve been reading on a Kobo for about two years, after an Amazon-shedding replacement of my Kindle Paperwhite with a Kobo Clara 2E. My Kobo Clara 2E in reading mode. It was a nice upgrade, and once I got the Bookerly font installed the differences were negligible. Except for highlighting. I save lots of highlights, and selecting text on the Kobo has been a wobbly dance of frustration: Selected sentences frequently stop short of their ending punctuation. Highlighting near the end of a section can easily grab the rest of a chapter, which can lock up the device. Selecting text across pages can be a wild ride. “I read real books where this isn’t a problem,” you say. I don’t really appreciate your attitude, but you’re right and some of us just read better in weird positions and appreciate a backlight and love squirreling notes away in text files.
