“Have to be mindful of chicks and tiggers!” - said by me this morning when I was thinking of ticks and chiggers, but from now on I’m saying it this way!Hello friends! We’ve made it to a new week. We were lucky enough to have a cool front come through, so it’s much nicer than it was last week! You take what you can get in August!Here are my photo choices for today:Magic lamp?So many flickers around this morning! Youngsters and maybe migrants! The youngsters make almost a squeaking sound that makes me laugh.The hummingbird chases around my feeder are just delighting me. Sunflowers always say August to me.I love watching seeds blow in the wind.Lots of young orioles around too!There were a lot of young bluebirds today; I’m thinking a new batch has left the nest.I saw a yellow warbler today, the first warbler I’ve seen in weeks!
