Would it be wrong to have a Native American rich friend’s money come from a casino?

My character, Raymond, is a member of the main cast but not the lead character. He is Tulalip native, and is the only human in the main group with the rest being non-native werewolves. The group as a whole is all fresh out of high school, and the story is about them going on a road trip across America to hunt vampires in an episodic fashion. Since the vampires have corrupted the authorities in hopes of driving werewolves to extinction, Raymond’s role in the group is to cover for them and do what they cannot do without drawing vampiric attention.He’s in charge of the group’s money and it’s his car that they ride in. Since the werewolves can’t hold a job without leaving a trail for the vampires to track, I needed a way for money to not be a critical issue, so I have Raymond be “the rich friend”.
