From the crypt

I’ve decided to restart another series of blog posts I started on my old blog but never got too far with. I’m calling it ‘From the crypt’ in honour of the now defunct Ken’s death metal crypt and also because it just feels right. I’ve spent time compiling a playlist of death metal EPs and demos on YouTube. They’re mostly from the late 80s and early 90s though some later ones have snuck in along the way. Right now the playlist stands at 587 releases. Some bands are obscure and never released much. Others went on to big things. Anyway for these purposes I’ll listen to a couple throughout my work day and shout out some good ones. Today there were two that get a mention. Up first is the one I listened to last. That’s the 1992 ‘Faceless Burial’ by Immortal Fate.
