Into another world 0 ▲ Kedara.eu by Ruben Verweij 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments Into another world How I love listening to music! Immersing myself in the world of a song when I’m alone: this, to me, is similar to the feeling of reading a good book. Often, after having read a great book or having listened to a beautiful song, I get the impulse to share my joy with the world, and perhaps find someone who enjoys it as much as I do. I can’t currently attend concerts or visit a music store, but there are plenty of other ways of sharing. For example, for both books and songs, a thoughtful, personal recommendation can open up a whole new world of art to discover. Here, James and I agreed to do a song trade: we’ve each chosen a song for the other to write about. Read the post James has written here—more on that later. The song James chose for me is “King and Lionheart” (2011) by the Icelandic indie folk/pop/rock band Of Monsters and Men. * * Not to be confused with the sci-fi novel Of Men and Monsters or the American rock band Of Mice & Men.
