I like to take pictures of decay sometimes, like the natural wear and tear of existence on things. Anything old, dirty, rusted, etc, and particularly if it has some real texture to it. Before we get to those, enjoy a plant growing out of a filthy pond. The water may not look super filthy in this picture, but it was algae-green. This picture is of a building that was like 3/4s demolished and now the rubble has just been sitting here for months and months now. Lichen on old rock-work by aforementioned green pond. More (dead?) lichen plus a tiny plant growing from the rock-work. Weathering wear. I'm disappointed this picture is blurry because I loved the texture, wear, and patina on this concrete surface. It wasn't a public location so I dunno when I'll have a chance to go there again and snap a better pic.
