Anything old, dirty, rusted, etc, and particularly if it has some real texture to it. Before we get to those, enjoy a plant growing out of a filthy pond. The water may not look super filthy in this picture, but it was algae-green. This picture is of a building that was like 3/4s demolished and now the rubble has just been sitting here for months and months now. Lichen on old rock-work by aforementioned green pond. More (dead?) lichen plus a tiny plant growing from the rock-work. Weathering wear. I'm disappointed this picture is blurry because I loved the texture, wear, and patina on this concrete surface. It wasn't a public location so I dunno when I'll have a chance to go there again and snap a better pic. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
