I realise you’re sick of hearing about this, but I’m sick of experiencing it, so take it: I hate the heat. I can’t sleep, I can’t think straight, my brain doesn’t work properly in general. I’m flustered and irritable and short-tempered. At least I have an office to go to, which I did every day this week. It’s slightly too cold in there but that’s a treat considering the alternative. It’s cooler today. Please let it be over now, at least until next summer, which will be worse, and the one after that, which will be worse still, and so on. Three gyms. Not a good weight week. I can only exert control over one stupid parameter at a time. Super busy this week. Basically just working. The end. Although it’s exhausting, being busy is actually less stressful than usual because at least I feel like I’m actually helping people and getting things done. What really kills me is the weeks when I feel like all my energy goes into pointless arguments, and this wasn’t one of those. I was cycling over…
