Plunder my playlists for Basement Jaxx, Chemical Brothers, Disclosure. Visit my memories of 90s rap blaring from my car stereo. Grab my love of disco and my rendition of I Will Survive from a friends wedding. I love dancing, I love losing myself in the music and moving my body. I don’t do it enough. But I don’t think I’ve ever wanted to dance alone. I mean I have danced alone, a boogie whilst doing the dishes, busting some moves in the shower (always a danger!), but that’s circumstance, that’s not choice. So I’m not sure I can honestly answer this question. The closest I can get would be the (re)discovery of a track I enjoyed in the past but that seems to have found a second life somewhere in my brain. It’s not an obvious song to dance too but it’s uplifting spirit I find infectious, a smiling tonic…
