This is the second installment of my series called Hitting the Digital Brakes. The first post was On the Joys of ImperfectionI didn't grow up with computers, phones, tablets and such. The tech I grew up with record players and my portable radio, camera's and my record player.The first computer came into my life in my twenties, when I started to work for an organisation and became their IT person, basically, even if there were only two computers.I saw everything from the 5¼ inch floppy disk onward. I still remember the routine of first starting that IBM with a DOS disk, then with a program disk for Symphony, and then the data disk in slot B to load my spreadsheet :)I remember my first beeper, my first mobile phone. My first computer (an old one from work).I grew along with technology, and bought the new thing every time because I loved technology so much.
