Monday 16th August, 1965

Dull at first but a nice warm sunny afternoon. Washed two cars K,G. Finished clearing the weeds from under the rhodies. Still in the bloody dog house. No sign of brightening. (Information from my mum re dog house situation. Apparently, the trip to Blackpool was with one of his friends and two women from the village, neither of which was my grandma. So, fair enough.)
