This is a Hall effect 65% board. For what it is, it’s a real bargain. It’s aimed at gamers, and comes with an in-your-face set of flashy keycaps. Some important specs: 3.5mm travel Unlensed south-facing LEDs Web configurator, Win and Mac drivers (I tested only with the web configurator) Aluminum case Fairly crisp gasketing. I bought this on a whim, and, given the price, I expected to be underwhelmed. I was wrong. It’s a lovely little board. The web configurator scared me when I first fired it up, leaving me staring at a white screen for about ten seconds thinking that it had hung. Patience paid off, and the configurator was able to talk to the board once I told the OS that that was a safe thing to do. The GUI for the configurator is pretty standard, with a few little gotchas. I only had to ask ChatGPT one question to get me around something that wasn’t obvious upon inspection. Recommended, especially if your wallet needs a rest. The post ATK RS6+ keyboard review first appeared on the…
