Voloz Collective’s REDACTED: The Cover-Up of a Cover-Up of a Cover-Up embraces that tradition wholeheartedly, plunging audiences into a labyrinth of missing persons, secret organisations, suspicious authority figures and enough twists to justify its gloriously absurd title. Set in 1973 New Mexico, the story follows journalist Marnie Makowski as she searches for her missing sister and uncovers a conspiracy that rapidly expands beyond anything she imagined. Most importantly, it is enormous fun. The company wear their influences proudly. There is a strong Spielbergian sense of adventure running throughout the show, the story unfolding with the breathless energy of a blockbuster matinee.
