Occasional Weeknote #32

Busy days around these parts as the summer starts its decline. Both cars failed inspection and getting them up to spec was a nice chunk of change. Our younger kiddo is starting high school next week, while our older one is moving into her apartment this weekend before starting her sophomore year of college. My mother-in-law’s visiting for a couple of weeks after we get back from the apartment move. And remember George? He’s doing great, being fostered by the folks down the block and we’ve been pet sitting him for the last few days. He’s a good boy and he’s going to a good home soon! It feels like life rarely gives us time to pause and breathe these days, but I think I’m just in one of those waves of life where you put one foot in front of the other and keep it moving forward. Things will ease up a bit soon as we get back into the school year routine. Hope y’all are well.
