RFK Jr. Claims He’s Not Allowed to Vote Because He Has “No Legal Residence”

You may recall that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is somehow the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, which you are absolutely thrilled about if you’re an infectious disease. But the “human services” part apparently includes the homelessness problem, which is why he was talking about that at a Los Angeles press conference. And as is so often the case when RFK Jr. talks, words came out that did not, let us say, perfectly mirror the reality we currently inhabit. These words came out after a reporter asked Kennedy whether he was registered to vote in the city’s upcoming mayoral election. “I’m in a very strange position,” Kennedy began (which is true but not in the sense he meant it): I’m in a very strange position, because when I ran for president [as an independent], the Democratic Party sued me first to get me off the ballot in 12 states, including New York and California. And then when I, um, when I endorsed President Trump, they sued me to keep me on the ballot in those same states.…
