Once in a Lifetime

So, there was a solar eclipse on Wednesday! This pawst is admittedly just an excuse to share some beautiful pics I took, but whatever, this is my blog so I can do it! "But Dr. Glowcat, you have that super interesting, informative and extremely well written pawst about space meowgic, surely you want to yowl about the meowgical properties of such a rare event?" Why, thank you! We sure can talk about it! To be honest, I've heard a lot of witches say that they refrain from all meowgic during eclipses, as they consider them bad omens or something. I disagree: a solar eclipse is just the Moon photobombing the Sun, and a lunar eclipse is the Earth photobombing the Moon, there's nothing foul going on. And so, since we have one celestial body hiding another, an obvious correspondence that comes to mind is that of hiding, secrecy and obfuscation.
