Anyway, it was a genuinely lovely moment here in London as people flooded the streets and did the unthinkable, talking and even smiling at strangers as though, I don’t know, we were a COMMUNITY or something; NEVER AGAIN. Anyway, this week’s Other Big News was one of my godchildren getting her A-Level results, making me feel both proud (fcuk knows why, her academic success has literally nothing whatsoever to do with me) and like I am so close to the grave I can practically taste the mortuarists makeup.
