I've Not Seen This Before...

You can see the discarded pile of memorials that have been removed from the graves and leftin a pile. (click to enlarge)Not too far away from where I live is an old, abandoned and now derelict building that I believe was originally an Africa-American church, possibly from the late 19th century or early 20th century. I'm not 100% sure, but all indications it is.Adjacent to the church is a small graveyard. There are fewer than a hundred graves. Some are relatively recent. People still bring flowers and other objects to their loved one’s graves. I've photographed this building in the past and have posted images of it on this blog. You might recognize it if you have followed the blog for a while.What I have never seen elsewhere is what those responsible for cemetery upkeep do with the old, faded artificial flowers, vases, decorations, small memorials and such.
