Being Snarky is Not a Personality

Here’s a simple rule I’ve set for myself lately that has improved my life at least a little bit: If all you ever have to offer is a snarky comment I’m going to go ahead and hit that unfollow button. I’m unsubscribing to your podcast and I’m no longer watching your YouTube videos. Simple.It feels like there’s been a resurgence of people who’s suddenly made their whole personality that they’re the snarky dude who makes snarky comments about fucking everything and that’s all they do. And I’m so fucking tired of it.And don’t get me wrong, I understand where at least some of this is coming from. The world is a shit-show and most of us feel powerless to do anything about any of it. And so, for some people, this is they way they’ve chosen to respond. I get it. But I also have no need for it in my day to day life.
