Light and Flow

Stone, sky, sunlight and the Snake River all united into shining flow… The Loren Eiseley quote, “If there is magic on this planet, it is contained in water,” has become sorely overused, but I find it to be more and more true. I sometimes wonder why I point my camera at anything besides water anymore. It’s ironic how we often think of time as a flowing river; while I was gazing at this little zone of water features, time’s meaning seemed to change entirely, eternity for a little while becoming lightness rather than weight.
