Sunset 0 ▲ with words, wonder 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I was just in time to catch the moment when the sun started to recede behind the hills in the distance, a moment in which two birds flew together and danced into the night, in which there were the last flickers of the golden glow of Evening thinking through the window, in which I looked to see the colours of the rest of the sky and, when looking back, realise the sun has now set; its brilliant yellow glow becoming cooler with every passing minute.I looked to the clouds and saw the shape of a giraffe with its neck craned down, two reindeer, a lady in a dress standing looking toward the sky. I notice the hills farther away are now a deep blue, like the hills in paintings from the 1500s, their colour changed by aerial perspective. I look out to the sky with wonder, and think about how no matter how much I watch the sunset, the colours of the sky in late evening are forever beautiful, leaving a lingering, awesome impression.
