I've got a nice big garden space in raised boxes that gets lots of sun. I decided to try to grow some zucchini. I'm a bit of a hands-off gardener. I try to water regularly, but I also forget, or wait for the rain. I weed, sort of, but sometimes the weeds reach a certain point that it's a bit overwhelming and then I just.. don't (that's this year right now haha). So I planted a few zucchini plants, figuring that they wouldn't all take and that way I'd for sure end up with at least one or two. Well, I'm also a naive gardener. I've now got more zucchini than I know what to do with! I was telling this story to my coworker who told me "never plant more than two zucchini plants." ...I have six! Oops! We are approaching twenty HUGE zucchinis since I keep forgetting to check my garden every day and harvest them while they are still grocery store sized.
