When the YouTuber said that, I thought, I wish I could be that kind of person. Then I thought, How do I become that kind of person?, looked up "how to start running for beginners", and began my research. I'm incredibly sedentary for a couple of reasons. First, I work from home and have the kind of job that is micromanaged enough that I need to be at or near my desk almost constantly. Second, I don't drive, so I don't run errands on my own after work. Third, I live in Texas, and it's miserably hot here for about half of the year. I don't just hang out outside if I can help it, unless I'm in the pool in the backyard. Fourth, I have never really enjoyed physical activity nor do I have the hand-eye coordination that sports require. In my sophomore year of high school, I took track & field.
