Very interesting short video that shows the methodology currently used in neuroscience hangs a big question mark over the validity of recent research. This is similar to problems in the field of psychology where many studies have failed to replicate results of earlier keystone studies. Seems to be a combination of: problems with data collection & measurement instruments and the academic funding politics of publish or perish. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out regarding the validity of our current understanding of the brain.
