Yesterday Trump signed an Executive Order cutting down the number of vaccines a child is required to receive in their developmental years. When I saw the signing ceremony on some news site, the page looked blank to me, but it was probably related to the whole ceremony thing. Everything in Trump land is about grandstanding, and this was no exception. I hope parents are smart enough to listen to their doctor’s advice instead of following an Executive Order from the Oval Office. I don’t know why the president is involved with the tempo of vaccine administration anyway. For a Republican president, he sure wants to make sure the government involved with everything. This is not the way it’s supposed to be. All of this nonsense can easily be traced back to Jenny McCarthy’s anti-vaccine stance from the early and mid-2000s. She was going on every talk show possible, using every PR move available to her building celebrity, to try to “cure” autism, and linking the cause of autism back to…
