Six Small Kelkoran Adventures, for Firmament

Doing the little watercolours was fun.A note on Kelkoran names - Kelkorans go by a double-name, their own name prefixed by the name of their eldest parent. I.e., the mother of Shobha-Sonam is called Avinash-Shobha, and her father is called Siddhi-Avinash, and so on. Kelkorans belong to clans. Clans belong to banners, and are led by a noyan, sardar, or equivalent. Banners belong to a crown, and are led by a khan, peshwa, or equivalent. Some particularly prestigious banners are instead “crowns” - three remain in the Empire, these being Okiri, Nau’u and Ythak, but tales tell of others in lands lost to struggle - Aruhm, Vishek and Kham. Once, there were khagans (also called emperors or kings of kings). They were the supreme rulers of the Empire, and often were khans of the Crowns also - but there has not been an (uncontroversial, universally-accepted) khagan for over a thousand years. Some…
