It starts once again

This week brings with it a couple of things, one of which is the beginning of the school year! What?! "It's barely August!" I hear you say. Yes, yes it is. We've had one helluva short Summer, filled with band camps and choir camps and play practice and musical practice and this and that....non stop fun. There has been very little time to take a breath in between. Our youngest will be going into "upper elementary" Montessori class, we actually just got back from meeting with his teacher and having popsicles (well, the kids had those, we did not). He is very, very excited, and has basically complained all Summer that he wants to get back into school. The next kiddo is going into eighth grade, so one year at the top of the building before starting back over next year as a freshman. They will, however, spend the morning at the high school for math class. The other two school aged kiddos are heading into their sophomore year, with lots of band, AP classes, orchestra and other artsy cool…
