“The Maleficent Faerie” by Rebecca F. Kenney [Femdom Book Review]

I was told this book was going to be bonkers. It is, but in an entirely good way. Usually being written like a fanfic would be a bad thing, but this is a wildly unselfconscious crack-fic, the sort of thing you read while cackling with surprised delight. An absolutely unhinged and violent female lead spends most of the book at writhing around levels of horny, being threatened with peril and submission and then violently avoiding it. The male lead might technically be her captor, but only in the sense of handcuffing yourself to a rabid wolverine is chaining it up. Fortunately for him, he’s into having the shit beaten out of him repeatedly. Because it’s going ot happen over and over again. “The Maleficent Faerie” is a retelling of Sleeping Beauty in the sense that there’s the ghost of the Disney film in the structure of the book. However the wicked faerie has been gender flipped into a more standard shadow daddy, though left only marginally less petty than the original character. From…
