Monospace

In my latest venture towards productivity bliss, I’ve been looking at a lot of different typefaces to fit with my plain text system. As an engineer, I have a handful of coding typefaces I gravitate towards and cycle through: Source Code Pro, Fira Code, JetBrains Mono. Monaspace is a newcomer and has interesting features, but I didn’t vibe with it. But I’m spending less time in the terminal and IDE these days. I still appreciate the feel of a monospaced font, but I want something that is optimized for prose. Courier Prime, but I realize I don’t want a typewriter feel. Input is expansive. I sat with that for weeks. Modular Houseplant. A very sexy font only for sexy people. C’mon. Random threads post, good job algorithm. But sadly, it was to thin. Berkeley Mono was my dream typeface, but surprisingly, it feels too geeky, and I wanted more contrasting italics. I thought I had the answer with Lilex.
